In the wake of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we're celebrating Giving Tuesday this year by partnering with an organization that is near and dear to our hearts.
For every purchase made between Tuesday 11/27 through Wednesday 11/28, we'll be donating $20 to Compass Family Services, an organization whose mission is to help empower homeless and at-risk families to become stably housed, emotionally and physically healthy, and economically self-sufficient.
In 2012, we teamed up with local artists and Converse Chuck Taylor to design a collection of San Francisco-inspired shoes known as the "All Star City Collection" launched in our ShoeBiz stores in an effort to help donate to the cause. We raised a total of $12,650.77 and donated all proceeds to Youth Against Poverty and Compass Family Services to help end family homelessness.
The Holiday season is a time that brings communities together to give back to those in need.
Together, we can help families in need work towards a more healthy and stable well-being.
